Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our team from Himalayan Marvel Adventures. They will assist you with the necessary customs procedures before heading to your hotel located in the vibrant neighborhood of Thamel, just 5 km away from the airport.

After settling in at your hotel, take some time to relax and complete any remaining documentation. Thamel, known as the tourist hub of Kathmandu, offers a plethora of options to explore. Enjoy strolling through the streets filled with diverse restaurants, music stores, arts and crafts shops, and even massage parlors. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere before returning to the hotel for a welcome dinner featuring authentic Nepali cuisine.

Day 2 Drive/Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (800m/2,625ft) - 6 to 7 hours (200km) drive, 30mins Flight

For your journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara, you have two options: air travel or a scenic road trip. In this tour, we will be embarking on a delightful road journey, allowing you to relish the picturesque landscapes along the way. Nestled in the western hills of Nepal, Pokhara awaits us. The route diverges from the Tribhuvan Highway and joins the Prithvi Highway. As we travel alongside the Trishuli River, the road winds through rolling hills, passing through Dhading and Manakamana before tracing the Seti River, ultimately leading us to the enchanting City of Lakes, Pokhara. Depending on the road conditions, the journey typically takes around 6 to 7 hours.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, we will transfer you to a comfortable hotel near the Lakeside area. After the long journey, you can take some time to rest and rejuvenate. In the evening, venture out onto the vibrant streets of Pokhara. A must-see spectacle is a mesmerizing sunset over Fewa Lake, just a short walk from your hotel. Day 3 Pokhara to Hile Drive and Trek to Ulleri (1,970m/6,463ft) - 2 to 3 hours (52km) drive and 3 to 4 hours (4km) trek

Prepare your belongings and embark on a scenic drive to Hile, immersing yourself in the rich cultural and tourist sites along the way. While it is possible to take a jeep ride from Pokhara to Ulleri, our approach focuses on embracing nature and enjoying the breathtaking views. Thus, we will embark on a hike from Hile to Ulleri. As you leave behind the trappings of civilization and venture towards Ulleri, be prepared for a climb that entails ascending over a thousand stairs. Along the trail, you will encounter locals and share the path with donkeys, mules, and horses, yielding to them as you make your way. However, the rewarding ascent to Ulleri makes it all worthwhile.

Upon reaching Ulleri, you will be warmly greeted by the “Welcome to Ulleri” sign. Head to your lodge and take a well-deserved rest. Gather around the dining table, warmed by the crackling fire of a log burner, and indulge in the flavors of authentic Nepali cuisine.

Today’s journey will take you toward the Northeast, leading you to the rejuvenating hot springs of Jhinu Danda. Descend from the hill and pass through the charming village of Ghurnung, with its fields of barley. Crossing the Kadoorie bridge, you will continue along the Chomrong pass, meandering through steep hillsides.
