A quick trek in Kathmandu, Chisapani, Nagarkot, as well as Dhulikhel provides far-reaching views of snow-capped mountains, rural life, and culture. Who should take this Around Kathmandu Trek? On public holidays, Shivapuri National Park is a popular picnic destination for Valley residents. On the way to Chisapani, we pass by Tamang Village and see the Sundarijal waterfall and watershed, which supplies the Kathmandu Valley. We move through thick forest to Chisapani, a Sherpa village with breathtaking mountain views. In the evening, unwind by watching a picturesque village sunset.
Next, we pass through the serene hill to Nagarkot, a range to the east of Kathmandu that offers an unrivaled landscape of endless hills spanning a large portion of the Himalayas. With the color variations it drops on the Himalayas, the setting sun will undoubtedly ignite your soul and inspire your sight.
The next day you will start with the golden view of the wide range of the Himalayas shining sunrise. The final destination of this trip will be Dhulikhel. The trek from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel will be quite easy bcoz of descend trail which passes via pine forest and rice terrace. Exploring around Dhulikhel, enjoying views with Newari cushion then back to Kathmandu.

Itinerary
Once you reach Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), the Himalayan Marvel Adventure delegate will receive you from there then check-in in the hotel.
Early in the morning, we will sit together for a meeting with the tour guide and our staff then we will give a brief discussion about our itineraries, accommodation, transportation, services that we include, and exclude, and we provide a cap, T-shirt, and bag with our company logo.
After the meeting, you can go to Kathmandu sightseeing with our city tour guide. Our city tour guide will take you to many famous places of Kathmandu valley like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Budhanilkantha, Bouddha, Pashupati Bhaktapur, Swoyambhu, Asan -market, and many more according to the time we have.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Sundarijal, which will take around 1 hrs if there is no traffic. To avoid heavy traffic, we will leave early in the morning. Today’s real journey starts once we reach Sundarijal. From here, we will begin the trek to Chisapani. First, we will take stone stairs that lead towards the Shivapuri National Park following the waterfall and watershed. Walking for around an hour, we will get an entrance to National Park. Walking further, we will pass via Tamang village and then hiking for 4-5 hrs through a deep forest will take us to Chisapani.
After breakfast at Chisapani, we will begin our trek to Nagarkot. Descending for 2-3 hrs on an unsealed road, we reach Chauki Bhanjyang. From here, the trail is flat for 2 hrs and then ascends for almost 30 mins. Then we arrive at Nagarkot, a beautiful hill station with exquisite panoramic views of the Himalayas. Explore around Nagarkot, climb up to the tower to view the whole valley, and other places.
Early morning, we will scrutinize the dazzling sunrise views from the Nagarkot. Then have breakfast and leave Nagargot and trek towards Dhulikhel. The trek is easy because at most all the trail descends. Passing through many pine forests and rice terraces through the Nala village with many countryside activities, we finally reach Dhulikhel. At Dhulikhel, we can enjoy the pictorial views of neighboring mountains and Newari culture and food. Then drive back to Kathmandu and check-in in the hotel.
In the evening, we will have a farewell dinner with the trekking crew with a guide and other staff. Enjoy the farewell dinner, and then have a sound sleep at the hotel of Kathmandu.
