Overview

Chitwan National Park is considered one of the best destinations in Nepal. It is Nepal’s first National Park. Formerly known as the Royal Chitwan National Park, it was established in 1973 and awarded the status of World Heritage Site in 1984. The forest and grasslands stretched over 2600 square kilometers and hosted about 800 rhinos. It is home to more than 700 wildlife species, including a variety of butterflies, moths including insect species that have not yet been completely surveyed. At least 43 mammal species and even held the mark of having nearly 543 bird species. The most fascinating and thrilling aspect to visit Chitwan National Park is the difference in various types of birds and animals.

The place is situated in the Himalayan central climatic region, where monsoon begins in mid-June and sets off in late September. Much of the 2,500 mm annual precipitation comes during these 14–15 weeks – it pours down thunder. Sauraha is a well-known tourism location on the outskirts of the National Park. Accessible from nearby Bharatpur Airport, Sauraha provides a variety of hotels, lodges, restaurants, and agencies that plan day trips to the protected zone.

In Chitwan, Jungle Safari includes multiple steps that provide both intense fun and exciting wildlife adventures for tourists. Jeep safaris into the jungle are the most common activities at Chitwan National Park, where sightings of one-horned rhinos, elephants, and black bears are almost assured.

The Royal Bengal Tiger, deer, leopards, and various other animals, birds, reptiles, and bugs are all possible sightings. The Rapti River canoe trip offers an incredible chance to witness gharial crocodiles, Gangetic dolphins, and various bird species. The forest tour is ideal for bird watching, and elephant bathing is a great way to soak up the atmosphere of Chitwan. Also, visiting elephant and crocodile breeding centers in Chitwan National Park is an absolute blast.

In addition, apart from this Chitwan Jungle Safari 3 days if you want to add some days on your trip then you can also go for Bardia Jungle Safari. Or other activities as you crave to do.
