The Ganesh Himal Trek is one of the most breathtaking landmarks in the Himalayas, as the Ganesh Range Peaks shape a horizon known as the “Great Himalayan Chain.” This trail leads us to Nepal’s uncharted central-eastern region.
From lush green pastures to high elevation passes and from steppe Nepalese culture to Himalayan people culture. This trekking is the most spiritual and vivid trekking route in Nepal compared to other famous trekking trails in Nepal.
The Ganesh Himal trek provides ideal shelter for a diverse range of flora and fauna, namely 526 plant species, 300 bird species, and wild animals such as Himalayan Thar, gaur, numerous monkey species, and musk deer. We can see Langtang, Gosaikund, Ganesh Himal, Boudha Peak, Himal Chuli, Machhapuchre, South Annapurna, and Annapurna II by this trek. We can also see incredible views of Singa La pass, Dharka, Jasail Kunda, Jyamrung, Kasigaun, Khanchok, and Gorkha.
A stroll via the indigenous settlement allows to engage with the locals, learn about their culture, and experience their way of life, which is unique from that of the world today. People in this area work in agriculture and animal husbandry. They live a peaceful life surrounded by the serenity of natural beauty.
Tamang, Larke, and Siar live in the upper regions, while Newars, Magars, Gurungs, Brahmins, and Chhetris live in the lowlands. The majority of people are Buddhists, with their accents, traditions, accessories, and beliefs. The warm welcome by the native people gives a pleasant memory of the journey for all tourists.
The ideal months to take this Ganesh Himal Trek are September to November and February to June. But the stunning sights and comparatively low elevation render it an all-year adventure. The Ganesh Himal trek is a great place to go trekking with your mates. It is advised to trek with family because it is milder, less expensive, and just as beautiful.
