Mount Kailash (6,714 m) also known as Tise, Kailash or Kang Rinpoche is a very famous Tibetan holy mountain. Rinpoche (Jewel of the Snows). Mt. Meru (Kailash) is holy to the Hindus, Buddhists, Janis, and Bonpos as the real and spiritual universe’s nucleus. There is a belief among Hindus that, this mountain represents the seat of Lord Shiva whereas for the Buddhist it represents, an earthly representation of Dyani Buddhas and Boddhisatvas ‘celestial mandala (which portrays the Wheel of Life).
