Tamshingphala Choepa tour offers you the opportunity to discover Bhutan’s most popular historic sightseeing sites in Paro, Thimphu and Bumthang. Enjoy the festivities which are observed as well. The festival is conducted for three days, in front of the Tamshing lhakang on the open fields. This celebration is in memory of the 15th-century “Terton” (treasure discoverer) Pema Lingpa. The ritual dances are typically the same as the Nyingmapa sect of Mahayana Buddhism, but conducted in a somewhat different manner.
