Kathmandu-Pokhara-Chitwan Tour

Once you reach Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), the Himalayan Marvel Adventure delegate will receive you from there and then check-in in at the hotel.

Early in the morning, we will sit together for a meeting with the tour guide and our staff then we will give a brief discussion about our itineraries, accommodation, transportation, and services that we include, and exclude, and we provide a cap, T-shirt, and bag with our company logo.

After the meeting, you can go to Kathmandu sightseeing with our city tour guide. Our city tour guide will take you to many famous places in Kathmandu valley like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Budhanilkantha, Bouddha, Pashupati Bhaktapur, Swoyambhu, Asan -market, and many more according to the time we have.

The day starts early in the morning in both cases to drive or fly to Pokhara. It will take around 7-8 hrs and most probably we will start at 6 am and will have lunch on the way. Once we reach Pokhara we will check-in in at the hotel and take a rest. In the evening we will visit the lakeside of Pokhara and relax there.

If we fly to Pokhara then we will leave for the airport by 7 am and take a flight at 8 am. After some time we will reach Pokhara and check-in in at the hotel. Since it is not tiring that’s why we can explore Pokhara. You will find many exciting places here with natural beauty. The whole day you can enjoy the beauty of nature at Pokhara and can take part in some exciting adventures like paragliding, zip flyer, mountain biking, ultralight flight, and many more.

The day begins with an early morning trip to Sarangkot, a popular vantage point that offers stunning views of the sunrise and the Himalayan mountain range, including Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Himchuli, Manaslu, and other peaks. After spending a few hours in Sarangkot, you’ll return to your hotel for breakfast.

Following a brief rest, you’ll embark on a sightseeing tour of Pokhara, where you’ll visit various attractions, including Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Mahendra Cave, Seti River Gorge, Barahi Temple, Mountain Museum, and World Peace Pagoda. In the evening, you can unwind with drinks and dinner accompanied by good music at one of the many lakeside restaurants and bars.

Since it’s a long day, we start the day early in the morning. Following breakfast, you will travel comfortably from Pokhara to Chitwan for around 5-6 hours. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will receive a warm welcome with refreshments. After some relaxation at the resort, you will take a stroll around Tharu village, where you can observe the indigenous Tharu communities’ way of life. At the end of the village walk, you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset view of Rapti River before returning to the resort in the evening.

Following breakfast, your expedition towards Chitwan National Park will begin. The park is a crucial conservation site for wildlife animals on the brink of extinction. While on the safari tour, it is almost certain that you will come across One-Horned Rhinos, woodpeckers, deer, and gharials in their natural surroundings. If you are fortunate, you may also catch a glimpse of Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, and genetic dolphins. Additionally, you may also spot various species of birds as there are 543 different bird species residing within the park.

Highlights of this day

• Elephant Safari: This is a classic way to tour Chitwan National Park, where trained elephants will carry you around. Alternatively, you can choose to do a Jeep Safari.
• Tharu Village Visit: Immerse yourself in the Tharu culture and see how they’ve coexisted with the jungle’s wildlife for centuries.
• Nature or Jungle Walk: If you prefer walking, you can explore the park at your own pace. Experts will guide you to safe areas to spot tigers, rhinos, and other wildlife.
• Elephant Bath: Experience a refreshing shower from an elephant’s trunk at Rapti River, which is believed to be beneficial to your health.
• Canoeing Trip: Take a handmade canoe ride along Rapti River, where you’ll encounter harmless gharials and numerous aquatic birds.
• Tharu Stick Dance: Watch the Tharu men perform a tribal dance that depicts how they protect their village from rhinos and other wild animals.

Following breakfast, you will return to Kathmandu by driving or flying. The drive will take around 5-6 hours, while the flight will last about 20 minutes. Once you reach Kathmandu, you can explore places such as Thamel, which is well-known among tourists, purchase mementos and sample a variety of local and international dishes. In the evening, you will have your farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant.
