Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m/4,593ft)

Once you reach Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), the Himalayan Marvel Adventure delegate will receive you from there then check-in in the hotel. 

Day 2 Sightseeing and trek preparation at Kathmandu

On this day, after breakfast at the hotel, we will meet the guide and crew members then a small meeting regarding our trek details. In the meeting, we will be discussing our itineraries, accommodation, transportation, services that we include and exclude, and we provide a cap, T-shirt, and bag with our company logo. 

Then our city guide will take you for Kathmandu sightseeing, which includes Basantapur Durbar, Hanuman Dhoka, the busiest market of Kathmandu- Asan Bazar, Pashupatinath, and many more.

Day 3 Drive to Syabrubesi (1,550m, 7-8 hrs)

We’ll leave Kathmandu after breakfast and begin our journey. The 6-hour drive in a jeep/bus to Syabrubesi is full of beautiful scenery and adventure. You will spend the evening exploring the area around the hotel.

Day 4 Trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m, 6 hrs)

We’ll reach the Bhote Koshi first, then continue along the Langtang Khola. This path rises steadily to the Bamboo forest. After that, we make our way down to Rimche, which is located on the banks of the Langtang River. We can come across red pandas, monkeys, and bears on our journey.

Day 5 Trek to Mundu (3543m, 6-7 hrs) via Langtang village

From the Lama Hotel, we resume uphill until we reach Ghodatabela, a green meadow where we will stop for lunch. From Ghodatabela, you can see the magnificent Langtang range. You must pass through the region ravaged by the 2015 Earthquake before arriving at the new Langtang village. After a few hours’ walk, we reach Mundu village. 

Day 6 Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3,870m, 4-5 hrs)

Another fascinating day for a trek to Kyanjin Gompa awaits us today. The trail is simple to follow, and the views are breathtaking. After breakfast, the trek to Kyanjin Gompa takes 3-4 hours. Kyanjin gumba is another pavilion with many accommodation facilities, pleasant places, and mountains surrounding it. When trekking in the Langtang valley, these are the most fun places to visit. You’re going to have a great time. Have lunch and explore Kyanjin Gompa and explore at another Cheese factory.

Day 7 Acclimatization: explore Tserko Ri (5,000m,7-8 hrs)

On this day, you will probably use to explore.  The glaciers of Langtang Lirung are breathtaking. Climb Kyangjin Ri, also known in the area as Brana Chumbo which  is right behind the settlement and provides a stunning 360-degree view of the Langtang peaks.

Day 8 Trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m, 6-7 hrs)

As we gradually descend to Lama Hotel, today’s trek is long but relatively simple. The mountains appear to conquer the sky as they pass through woods and fascinating villages.

Day 9 Trek to Thulo Syabru (2,230m, 5-6 hrs)

Thulo Syabru is a charming remote Tamang and Sherpa village. After breakfast, we walk from the Lama Hotel to the Hot Spring. To enter Thulo Syabru, the bamboo forest trekking trail, we must turn left from the hot spring and climb higher. To get to Thulo Syabru, we must first cross a suspension bridge.

Day 10 Trek to Sing Gumpa / Chandan Bari (3,330 m, 3-4 hrs)

The trek starts with a steep ascent to Dimsa village, then continues on a moderately steep trail to Sing Gumpa, passing through Rhododendron and Oak forest. The route is fascinating due to the breathtaking views of Langtang Himal and the beautiful valley. When you arrive at Shin Gompa, you can go to one of the famous Cheese Factory.

Day 11 Trek to Gosaikunda (4,460m, 5-6 hrs)

On our way to Laurebina, we’ll take a leisurely walk along a stage that passes through a thick forest. In between, the Red Panda, an endangered species, has a home on the trail. If we keep walking up to the mountain, we’ll find a broader path that leads to the Gosaikunda’s holy land through the alpine area. Two of the most beautiful lakes in the region are Bhairab Kunda and Saraswati Kunda.

Day 12 Trek to Gosaikunda Pass to Tharepati (4,160m, 7-8 hrs)

On this day, you’ll start the day with breakfast before heading to the northern side of the lake. You’ll pass several smaller lakes as you ascend toward Gosaikunda Pass, which is the highest point of the trek. The views of the lakes and mountains from the top of the pass are breathtaking. After enjoying the view, you’ll head towards Phedi and then to the village of Tharepati, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 13 Trek to Kutumsang (2,540m, 6 hrs)

Today, we further ascend to the village of Kutumsang. This downhill walk via the sub-tropical forest will be pleasing. We will slowly walk downwards within the ridge as we enjoy the view of Dorje Lakpa and ShishaPangma.

Passing Magin Goth, we further continue the Kutumsang village today. The walk will be relatively easy as we arrive at Kutumsang before evening.

Day 14 Trek to Chisapani (2,230m, 6-7 hrs)

As our trek comes to an end, we walk closer to Kathmandu. Chisapani is one of the foremost loved one-day hike destinations from Kathmandu. The slow walk from Kutumsang to Chisapani promises visitors many natural and cultural delights.

This section of the walk highlights the overall sweetness of the Helambu region. Strolling down the green hills towards the honest viewpoint of Chisapani, the mountain appears far and beyond. But this Picturesque setting will still be pleasing to your soul.


Day 15 Trek to Sundarijal and Drive to Kathmandu (1,350m, 4 hrs Drive)

Get ready for the final day of the trek after breakfast. We get up early in the morning for one last tremendous sunrise view from Chisapani.

Then, we will slowly walk downwards to the Sundarijal. This short walk along the forest brings the memory of the Langtang and Gosainkunda regions. We will pass multiple small settlements and take brief stops for local snacks.

From Sundarijal, a personal cab will drive you back to Kathmandu. This short drive of an hour shows you the best of Kathmandu valley. As you check in to the hotel, enjoy the hot shower and let your shanks rest. Afterward, you can go for some souvenir shopping to enjoy the place.

In the evening, we will enjoy a farewell dinner, our last dinner as a team. Remembering the journey we accomplished, we want the celebration. After that, you can enjoy the nightlife of Thamel.


Day 16 Departure

Sadly, this is your last day in the beautiful nation of Nepal. After a leisurely breakfast in the morning, we will drive you to the airport. Please inform us about your flight schedule so we can take you to the airport accordingly.

We will guide you to the airport three hours before your flight to complete your customs and immigration formalities. Waving a final goodbye, you will be rushing to your next destination- probably your hometown or elsewhere.
