The Langtang region of Nepal greets us with a variety of unique and exotic plant and animal species. The harmonious sounds of the birds enhance the excitement and allure of the trek.

The trek takes you across Langtang National Park, a beautiful landscape filled with magnificent wildlife, yak meadows, and nearby cheese factories! Himalayan pheasants, Himalayan deer, Himalayan tigers, monkeys, and the rare red panda live in this area.

The Langtang Valley Trek offers stunning mountain views as well as beautiful scenery. From the dirt paths leading to Langtang, the glaciers and mountains of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Jugal Himal, Dorje Lakpa, and Ganja La Pass can all be seen.

The natives are mainly of Tibetan origin, and according to legend, the valley was found by a lama – a Tibetan Buddhist teacher – who was chased by a wild yak. “Lama” is the Tibetan word for “follow,” and “tang” is the Tibetan word for “lama.”

The Langtang Valley Trek begins after a fun trip by private jeep or bus from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. On the following days, crossing Bhote Koshi river then continue along the Langtang Khola we reach Lama Hotel then pass through the region ravaged by the 2015 Earthquake before arriving at the new Langtang village, and Kyangjin Gompa.

Kyanjin gumba is another pavilion with many accommodation facilities, pleasant places, and mountains surrounding it. When trekking in the Langtang valley, these are the most fun places to visit. Explore Kyanjin Gompa, a Cheese factory, and climb Kyangjin Ri for a stunning 360-degree view of the Langtang peaks.

Retrace back on the same trail till Lama Hotel and from here trek on the bamboo forest and reach Thulo Syabru, charming remote Tamang and Sherpa village. The next day treks to Dhunche and drives back to Kathmandu. This trip ends with a full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu.
