Overview

Yala Peak Climbing is the most suitable option for those who want to stand at a summit in the Himalayas but have a low budget and a few days. This journey honors travelers with the exciting adventure of trekking and climbing well beyond hiking in the Langtang area.

During this journey, you can see the unparalleled natural beauty with the combination of cultural riches. Although the folks living there are Tamang people, the culture is different from other Tamang people but similar to the Tibetan people, because Yala Peak lies on the border of Tibet. Also, get the alluring views of Dorje Lakpa, Naya Kang, Tserko  Ri, Shisalanga, Ganchenpo, Langtang Lirung, and many Tibetan peaks.

Yala Peak climbing starts from a scenic drive to Syabru Bensi from where we start trekking. We will pass through Lama Hotel, Langtang village, Kyanji Gompa, then summit the Yala Peak and retrace back on the same route. On the way, we also see the settlement, which was once damaged by the Earthquake 2015 and now ideally constructed again. This Yala Peak Climbing program starts and ends at Kathmandu.

Spring and Autumn are the perfect seasons for this trek where the sky will be cleared with alluring nature, but the route will be full. If you want to skip the crowd and be well prepared for cold weather, then the winter is perfect for you.

A special permit is needed for this trek because we have to enter the Langtang National Park, which is listed in the restricted area. You don’t need any prior climbing experience because it is non-technical climbing. But you need to know to use climbing equipment and moderate physical fitness.

If you are planning for Yala Peak Climbing, then Himalayan Marvel Adventure is happy to help you. We provide the necessary climbing training with a well-experienced guide for the trek, and you can also hire the required equipment.

Highlights

    • Spectacular but very lumpy driving to the Syabrubesi
    • Dense forest, waterfalls, wildlife, Tamang people lifestyle, etc.
    • Less technical and low altitude climbing peak
